In the Groups section of the Dashboard, Space Admins can manage and edit Space Groups, as well as create new ones or deactivate existing ones.
To access the Groups’ management page, you have several options:
- you can click on Dashboard in the sidebar above the My Groups section:
- you can click on the three dots ⋯ next to the Space name and select Dashboard from the dropdown menu:
-
In both cases, click on Groups to view the list of Space Groups and their properties:
-
From this page, you can view all information related to Space Groups, including:
- the Group’s name
- the list of Instructors who are members of the Group
- the Group’s status, indicating whether the Group is active or inactive:
- ✅ If a Group is active, it will be visible and accessible to all Group members
- ❌ If a Group is inactive, it will no longer be visible or accessible to Group members. A deactivated Group can be reactivated, allowing members to regain access without loss of content
- the number of members in the Group
- the Group properties, such as whether it has been set as a Template or a Self joinable Group
As a Space Admin, you can access an active Group even if you are not a member by clicking directly on its name.
Use the search bar to quickly find the Groups you need or apply filters to narrow down results based on your needs.
By clicking the + New Group button, you will be able to create a new Group directly from this section.
-
Additionally, by clicking on the three dots ⋯ under the Actions column, you will be able to:
- activate or deactivate a Group:
- ✅clicking Activate Group will make the currently deactivated Group visible and accessible to its members
- ❌clicking Disable Group will hide the currently active Group and make it inaccessible to its members
- duplicate an active Group and its contents by selecting Duplicate Group. This will create a new Group containing the Modules, Assessments, and Tests from the duplicated Group. Group members, Wall interactions, and Exercise executions will not be duplicated
- set a Group as a Template or remove it from Templates:
- set a Group as Self joinable or remove it from Self joinable Groups:
- ✅clicking Set as Self joinable will allow all Space members to join the Group without needing an invitation from an Instructor
- ❌clicking Remove from Self joinable will allow users to join the Group only through an invitation sent by an Instructor
- activate or deactivate a Group:
