In this tutorial, you can read about the Board features reserved for the instructor who has turned on the Board.
These features may help you manage how learners can interact within the Board or add ready-made teaching resources to an activity.
Only organizations subscribed to the Lite, Pro or Enterprise plan can activate the Board.
Managing learners participation
To personalize how Learners collaborate and interact within the Board, you can:
- enable Leader mode to lock the learners’ view and ensure they see the same section of the Board you are viewing. For example, you can activate the Leader mode to let Group members follow you more easily during a lecture
-
enable Read-only mode, to prevent learners from editing the Tabs. If you’ve planned a collaborative activity, you can turn this Read-only mode off and let students write on the Board
-
Click on the crown icon in the top right; to enable or disable those modes click on the switch next to each item. A mode is active when the switch is shifted to the right and is colored blue:
-
Press the three dots in the top right and then on the crown icon to open a dialog box from which you can set up these modes by pressing the switch alongside each item. Each mode is active when the switch is shifted to the right and is colored blue:
The first time you access the Board you will find these modes deactivated by default.
