Through Live sessions, Instructors can create and manage videoconferences to:
- schedule or have lessons, courses, and workshops
- have individual or group tutoring sessions
- host conferences and webinars with industry experts, enriching Learners’ learning experience

How to create or schedule a Live
From the Group Calendar, you can create a Live by starting the videoconference immediately or scheduling it later.
To create a Live, you have several options:

you can click on 🗓️ New event + at the top right and select Live from the drop-down menu:

you can click directly on the day of the Calendar on which you want to have the videoconference:
In this case, the start and end date will automatically be set to the selected day.

You can click on the + at the bottom right of the Wall:
Whatever option you choose, you can set up the Live from the next window, where you can:

Enter the Title of the Live. Remember that adding the title is mandatory to create an Event in the Calendar

Choose the participants of the Live. For example, you can:
- Extend the Live to other Groups by clicking on Add Group + and selecting the Groups:
- Reserve the Live only for some Students. Click here to learn how to select participants for an Event:

Set the date, start and end time of the Live:

Make the Live recurring and select the frequency from the drop-down menu. Click here to learn how to create a recurring Event:

Select the provider to host the Live (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom):
Upon first access with one of the selected providers, you will need to enter the credentials of your Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom account and provide browser access permissions. If you have already created Lives, you can select the e-mail address associated with the videoconferencing service you have recently used.
If you want to create a Live using a different provider, you can select Other service and paste the external URL of the videoconferencing service in the External URL box. -

Finally, click on Create to confirm the creation of the Live and view it within the Calendar:
Once you create a new Live, you will receive an e-mail notification confirming that the Live has been added to the Calendar. At the same time, an e-mail notification will alert Students of the Group that a new Live has been created.
Select the daily digest or weekly summary options from the Notification settings to receive e-mails related to Calendar Events. Read more about customizing email notifications.
