How to invite Instructors

Admins and Instructors can invite other Instructors to a Group:

Instructors can join a Group they have been invited to only via an email invitation by following this tutorial.

How to invite Instructors via email

To invite Instructors to join a Group via email, you have several options:

  • you can click on Invite in the top right corner of the Wall:

  • you can click on the three dots ⋯ next to the Group's name, select View Participants from the dropdown menu, and then click + Invite in the Group Members section:

In both cases, a window will pop up, allowing you to invite Instructors to the Group via email. To do so:

  1. click on Email
  2. select Instructors from the dropdown menu
  3. enter the Instructors’ email addresses
  4. Click on Invite as Instructors

If you are an Admin or an authorized member you can choose whether to enable Instructors to be Group managers:

  • ✅If this option is enabled, invited Instructors will be able to create new Groups within the Space
  • ❌If this option is disabled, invited Instructors won’t be able to create new Groups within the Space

Depending on your Plan, you can:

It is not possible to invite Instructors to a Group if the Group belongs to a Temporary Space or a Demo Space.

Once done, Instructors will receive an email through which they will be able to register and access the Group.

The email addresses of the Instructors you have invited will appear in the Pending section of the Group. From there, you will be able to monitor both the number of Instructors who gradually join the Group they have been invited to and those who could not join the Group due to a technical issue.
