During a Live you have to allow your browser (or app) access to the webcam and to the microphone of your device. As you access a Live for the first time, a confirmation message will pop up asking for permission to use your webcam and microphone:
If you haven't granted these permissions and therefore other participants can’t see you or hear you, proceed as follows:
- If you use a browser from your desktop to access a Live, you can manage access permissions at any time by clicking on the lock icon in the address bar:
You can also check you have correctly managed access permissions from your browser Settings.
- If you use an app to access a Live, you can grant access permissions the first time you use the app or later, from your device settings. From there search for the videoconferencing app (i.e. Zoom or Google Meet) and then authorize the access to the microphone and the camera:
