How to edit your profile

Through the Profile, each user can manage and edit his personal data and decide whether to make contact information visible to other users.

To access your Profile, click on the profile picture in the top right corner and select Profile from the drop-down menu:

You can now see how your profile appears to other users. To customize the page, click on Edit profile:

Specifically, you can:

  • edit your profile picture by clicking on the pencil icon to upload a new image from your device, or by selecting the trash can icon to delete the existing one
  • edit your date of birth by selecting the day, month, and year of birth from the calendar

If you signed up for WeSchool as an underage user, you cannot enter a date of birth that indicates you are an adult user, and vice versa

  • decide whether to make the email address you use to access WeSchool visible to other users. You can learn how to change your email address by following this tutorial 
  • add a link to your Facebook profile. To do this, copy and paste the link to your Facebook profile, ensuring that the link is in the format: https://www.facebook.com/username
  • add your Instagram profile by typing @ followed by your username
  • enter a brief description of yourself in the Bio section to introduce yourself to other users in the Space
  • decide whether to make the Badges you’ve been awarded visible to other users. You can learn more about the certifications you've earned by following this tutorial

You can choose which information to hide or show to other WeSchool users by clicking on the eye-shaped icon on the right side of each box:

  • ✅ If the icon is not crossed out, the information is visible to users who visit your profile
  • ❌ If the icon is crossed out, the information is hidden from users who visit your profile
