How to add Custom Fields to a Space

Adding Custom Fields enables Space Admin to collect more information about users joining the Space.
Gathering extra data provides tailored information beyond the basic registration details and better supports administrative needs.

Custom Fields are available for Spaces on a Pro or Enterprise Plan (Read here to manage the Space subscription) or Public School Spaces which has been claimed (read here how to Claim a Space).

To activate and customize Custom Fields from the Space customization page:

Only Space Admins can manage Custom Fields.

To view the information gathered using the Custom Fields

  • Download the Group Record to see the additional information provided by the Group Learners. Learn more about the Record.

    Instructors’ information won’t be displayed in the Record as they are available only to Space Admins.

  • Additional information gathered via Custom Fields on all Space Learners and Instructors can be accessed via the Partner API.
