How to Grant permissions to embed resources into WeSchool

WeSchool enables Instructors and Learners to share online resources, such as YouTube videos texts written via Google Docs or Microsoft Word, and much more.
Most of these resources will be accessible directly from WeSchool so all users can view them and interact without opening a new tab:

However, due to the privacy settings of the resource you want to add to WeSchool, embedding won’t be available and the resource will open in a new browser tab:

Editing the privacy settings may differ based on the online resource. Please read the tool guidelines to ensure the link is embeddable into WeSchool.

  • The Google Suite features Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Make sure to publish the resource to the web, before pasting the link into WeSchool.

  • The Microsoft Suite features tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Make sure to share the link with anyone, before pasting the link into WeSchool.

  • Vimeo is one of the most popular video hosting services. To embed a Vimeo video in WeSchool, users can simply copy and paste the video link. Ensure the privacy settings are set to Public or Hide from Video to enable embedding.
