Recurrent events enable Instructors to schedule Live sessions, Activities, and Deadlines that recur periodically (every day, every week, on specific days of the month, …). Instead of creating individual events, Instructors can set how often the event takes place.

You can create a recurrent event while setting up the Live session, Activity, or Deadline. Choose one from the following options from the repetition drop-down menu:
- Doesn't repeat: the Event is not recurrent (this is the default option)
- Daily: the Event repeats every day of the week
- Every Weekday (M to F): the Event repeats from Monday to Friday
- Weekly on the current day: the Event repeats on a specific day every week; for example, on Tuesday
- Monthly on the current date: the Event repeats on a specific day every month; for example, on the 16th
If you create a recurring Live session, Activity, or Deadline, eight such events will be automatically created.
