On WeSchool you can receive digital certifications that demonstrate the completion of a course, passing a test, or developing a new skill.
You can receive these certifications as Open Badge or NFT. Either way, the certification contains all the essential information such as the validity duration, the issuing institution or instructor, and the criteria on which it was issued.
-
It is a digital certificate that certifies a specific skill or competency. It is issued after completing a course and contains information such as who issued it and the date it was obtained. Open Badges can be viewed and shared online, and their authenticity is easily verifiable.
-
An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a unique digital token that represents the ownership of a digital object, in this case, an Open Badge. NFTs are non-fungible and non-interchangeable; the blockchain on which they are registered ensures security and transparency and allows for the verification of the ownership and authenticity of the NFTs.
On WeSchool you can quickly distinguish between NFTs and Open Badges; an NFT is marked by the logo of the chain through which it was issued.

As soon as you are awarded an Open Badge or an NFT, you will receive:

You can see all the certifications you can obtain in a Group on the Wall, in the Badge section on the right:
