How to customize an Exercise or a Test

When assessing Learners’ progress, you can customize the Assessment Settings to elaborate tailored Exercises and Tests to match specific needs and learning goals. From the Assessment Settings, you can:

Only Instructors can access the Assessment Settings while creating or editing a Test or Exercise.

Randomize the order of the questions

To randomize the order of the Test questions by clicking on the Assessment order button:

  • If the switch is on (colored in purple), the questions will be assigned to each Learner in a random order
  • If the switch is off (colored in white), the questions will be assigned to the whole Group in the same order you entered them

Hide the results until the Assessment is corrected

Choose whether to display the results at the end of the Test or after it has been corrected.

  • Select Display results at the end of the assessment to display the results to the Learner as soon as the Assessment has been completed.
  • Select Display results after the Instructor’s correction to display the results to the Learner only after an Instructor’s review

Hiding the results will help you ensure that Learners don't pass around correct answers, even if the Test is taken remotely.

If you decide to the results until the review, the Leaners will see this alert when taking the Assessment:
