Admins and Instructors can invite Learners to a Group:
- via an email invitation
- via an invitation link or Group code
- by importing Learners from other Groups or from a .csv file
Learners can join a Group they have been invited to via an email invitation, invitation link, or Group code by following this tutorial.
How to invite Learners via email
To invite Learners to join a Group via email, you have several options:
- you can click on Invite in the top right corner of the Wall:
- you can click on the three dots ⋯ next to the Group's name, select View Participants from the dropdown menu, and then click + Invite in the Group Members section:
In both cases, a window will pop up, allowing you to invite Learners to the Group via email. To do so:
- click on Email
- select Learners from the dropdown menu
- enter the Learners’ email addresses
- Click on Invite as Learners
If you are an Admin or an authorized member you can choose whether to enable Learners to be Group managers:
- ✅If this option is enabled, invited Learners will be able to create new Groups within the Space
- ❌If this option is disabled, invited Learners won’t be able to create new Groups within the Space
Depending on your Plan, you can:
- send up to a maximum of 5000 invites at once if you have an active Pro or Enterprise Plan or if your Space has been claimed
- send up to a maximum of 200 invites at once if you have an active Lite Plan
- send up to a maximum of 20 invites at once if your Space is in a Free Trial
- send up to a maximum of 20 invites at once if your Space has not been claimed
- send up to a maximum of 20 invites at once while creating your first Space
It is not possible to invite Learners to a Group if the Group belongs to a Temporary Space or a Demo Space.
Once done, Learners will receive an email through which they will be able to register and access the Group.
The email addresses of the Learners you have invited will appear in the Pending section of the Group. From there, you will be able to monitor both the number of Learners who gradually join the Group they have been invited to and those who could not join the Group due to a technical issue.
How to invite Learners via a Group code or invitation link
To invite Learners to join a Group via Group Code or invitation link , you have several options:
- you can click on Invite in the top right corner of the Wall:
- you can click on the three dots ⋯ next to the Group's name, select View Participants from the dropdown menu, and then click + Invite in the Group Members section:
In both cases, a window will pop up where you will be able to invite Learners to the Group via a Group Code or invitation link:

If you want to invite Learners to a Group via a Group code, click on Link Invite and copy the Group code. Then, share it with the Learners so they can join the Group via the Group code:
You can customize the Group Code by clicking the pencil icon and editing the code so that the new Group code replaces the previous one. Once done, click Save to confirm the changes and share it with the Learners.
In the Group invite link section, you can enable or disable the Group Code:
- ✅If this option is enabled, the Group code will be visible; you can copy and share it with the Learners so they can join the Group
- ❌If this option is disabled, the Group code won’t be visible; you cannot copy or share it with the Learners. Learners who joined the Group via a Group code before it was disabled will still have access to the Group. Learners who try to join the Group after the Group code has been disabled will see an error message as the code will no longer be valid

If you want to invite Learners to a Group via an invitation link , click on Link Invite and copy the invitation link. Then, share it with the Learners so they can join the Group via the invitation link:
In the Group invite link section, you can enable or disable the invitation link:
- ✅If this option is enabled, the invitation link will be visible; you can copy and share it with the Learners so they can join the Group
- ❌If this option is disabled, the invitation link won’t be visible; you cannot copy or share it with the Learners. Learners who joined the Group via the invitation link before it was disabled will still have access to the Group. Learners who try to join the Group after the link has been disabled will see an error message as the invitation link will no longer be valid
